When the inverter is set as a parameter device, what is the use of entering the rated speed of the motor? Motors are classified into 2-pole, 4-pole, 6-pole, 8-pole, etc. The higher the number of poles, the lower the speed, and the greater the current for the same power. Entering the correct rated speed of the motor and other rated parameters ensures the proper functioning of the inverter’s protection functions. In a non-closed-loop control system, the actual operating speed of the motor depends only on the frequency control signal; the input of the rated speed has no effect on the output speed.
