Status of domestic mechanical seals

There are countless domestic manufacturers of mechanical seals. We have used products from companies such as Chengdu Fluid, Zhangjiagang, Xi’an Yonghua, Tianjin John Crane, and Borgman. Where are the main locations of domestic bearing manufacturers? Which ones have more reliable quality?
There are indeed many sealing manufacturers in China, but each one has its own core product types. It is necessary to choose a manufacturer based on the strengths of different domestic and international firms; for example, Xi’an Yonghua and Dandong Klon specialize in bellows seals； Dry gas seals from Sichuan Yitong, Tianjin Dingming, and John Crane ； John Crane Model 48 light hydrocarbon seal ； EKATO, kettle seals from Dalian Huayang ； Seals for Flowserve pumps, etc. Borgman’s sealed version doesn’t seem to have any significant advantages, and it’s not cheaper either. Apart from high-end dry gas seals, the quality of other products produced domestically has now reached international standards, and their prices are much lower as well. The domestic bearing manufacturers are mainly Havaluo, that is, the Harbin, Wafangdian, and Luoyang Bearing Factories. There is not much difference between mid-to-low-end products, but there is still a gap compared to high-end brands such as Swiss SKF, Japanese NSK, American TIMKEN, and German FAG.
Most of the bellows seal machines in our factory are made by Dandong Klon, while the dry gas seals are from Tianjin John Crane

There are also many manufacturers in China that produce bearings, and those with relatively reliable quality are the bearings produced by the companies commonly referred to as \"Ha, Wa, Luo\" – namely the bearing factories in Harbin, Wafangdian, and Luoyang. (These three are manufacturers that produce rolling bearings; it’s not clear which ones are the best for producing sliding bearings:)
For mechanical seals, Sichuan Nikki is the best – their service is excellent. Dry gas seals John Crane and Sichuan Nikki
Our imported compressors use domestic components; all the mechanical seals are from Dandong Klon, and their quality is quite good. Slightly inferior to the original imported machine seal.
In fact, the products manufactured by domestic machine seal manufacturers are also of high quality these days; we should support our domestic industry.

Dandong Klon and Sichuan Niki produce good mechanical seals. Regarding seals for pumps, I personally think it’s best not to use dry gas seals – they are not economical nor practical.
