What are the consumption metrics for methanol production from coke oven gas in various plants?
The original poster asked too broadly; it would be better to be more specific. Such as: raw material consumption, energy consumption, and so on!
Our factory produces methanol from coke oven gas; according to the specifications, producing one ton of methanol requires 2,050 standard cubic meters of gas, 13 tons of water, 750 kWh of electricity, and 2.6 tons of steam.
Does this consumption refer to the consumption of pure methanol? Methanol synthesis alone does not require that much steam!
What are the components of 2050? Is there energy being added from elsewhere, so that it might reach the theoretical value of 2100?
