Problems with sulfuric acid storage tanks and vent valves

I’m seeking advice from everyone: for tanks used to store sulfuric acid, in order to prevent moisture from the air from entering the tank, is it necessary to install a vent valve on the top of the tank? If no breather valve is used, what method can be employed to maintain constant pressure inside the tank?

It’s not necessary, as sulfuric acid is not flammable or highly volatile. Generally, a vent pipe installed on the top of the tank is sufficient; if moisture absorption during long-term storage is to be avoided, desiccants such as silica gel can be added to the vent pipe.
The sulfuric acid in the tank is constantly being used and refilled, so there is no need to worry about moisture issues
