How to deal with leaks in the air cooler tube bundle? How to remedy a leak in the tube bundle of a copper heat exchanger?
1. First, use a pulling wire to cut out the air cooler, and then replace the tube bundle! 2. Use the spare air cooler to repair the faulty one.
If it is possible to remove the air cooler, tube plugging can be carried out; however, special plug materials are required to seal both ends of the tubes. If the number of tubes that need to be plugged exceeds 10%, it may no longer be worthwhile to carry out repairs.
First, the process needs to analyze the cause of the leakage. If the leakage is caused solely by equipment issues, repair is sufficient; if there are process-related problems (such as corrosion or erosion), the process must also be improved alongside the repairs.
