How to solve the vibration problem of the high-pressure water pump in the coking unit (model: 6IJ11, imported from the United States)? Currently, the vibration of the high-pressure water pump exceeds the alarm value (alarm value = 0.063 MM), and the temperature of the lower bearing shell in the thrust bearing is rising rapidly. I would appreciate it if experts could suggest a solution
Is it the first test drive or has it been running for some time? If it is the first time performing a test run, it might be due to too low backflow flow or a clogged filter, which results in low inlet flow. If this issue occurs after the system has been operating for some time, it is advisable to look for the causes in the filter and the parameters of industrial operations.
Check the installation dimensions, the concentricity of the shafts, the bearings of the coupling, pump, and motor, as well as whether there are any impurities blocking the inlet.
It can be analyzed from the following aspects: 1. Process aspects: Whether the specifications of the inlet and outlet pipelines are appropriate, whether the inlets and outlets are unobstructed, and whether the inlet pressure difference is suitable. 2. Pump body aspects: Whether the installation dimensions are appropriate, whether the shaft alignment is correct, and the condition of the bearings in the coupling, pump, and motor. 3. Instrumentation aspects: The installation of instruments and the adjustment of their zero points
Has the thrust pad temperature increased due to friction? What are the magnitudes of vibrations in each direction, and what are the values of displacement, velocity, and acceleration at the points where the vibrations are most intense? Is there a spectrum?
Both vibration and temperature are increasing; it could be a mechanical fault, so disassemble the machine to check the bearings
