Although this problem seems simple, in the processes I’ve been involved with, control valves always come with auxiliary lines. I discussed this issue with my supervisor today – is Chinese technology too conservative, focusing on maintaining production at all costs, while foreign technology requires that any minor problems be resolved before production can continue? That’s why auxiliary lines are rarely seen. I would appreciate it if someone with more experience could explain this to me;
If the control valve fails~~~ wouldn’t having a bypass valve make it easier to operate the device? If the control valve is damaged, the bypass valve can be used temporarily to regulate operations while the control valve is being repaired. Considering China’s national conditions, it’s not necessary to blindly follow foreign practices; what truly matters is that the method serves the long-term interests of the device
For the same type of valve, the price difference between imported and domestically produced ones is 7 to 10 times. Domestic ones still need to be secondary.
Are domestic products always bad, or is it safer to go with the ones that have a precedent?
A secondary line is necessary, as determined by the operating conditions of the equipment in our country. What if there is no wind or power supply, and the control valve fails? What to do if the control valve is leaking? These are all real-world problems, and many arise in production as well. I haven’t seen any from abroad; probably it’s because their manufacturing technology is more advanced. Don’t keep looking at foreign products; their valves cost thousands of dollars each. How can we avoid buying them as much as possible?
