Safety Operating Procedures for the Copper Washing Section 1. Strictly control the process parameters specific to this position; operating beyond these parameters is strictly prohibited. 2. Strengthen the protection of the copper melt; waste and loss of copper melt are strictly prohibited. 3. Strengthen the control of the regeneration temperature and the ammonia cooling temperature; strictly maintain the regeneration temperature at 72–76°C and the ammonia cooling temperature at 8–15°C, and it is strictly prohibited to allow temperatures or pressures to exceed these limits. 4. Strengthen the waste discharge procedures for this position, ensuring that discharge occurs once every 4 hours. 5. Strengthen the cleaning and unblocking tasks for this position, conduct regular inspections, and strictly prevent blockages in equipment and pipelines. 6. Strengthen the control of copper melt composition and the volume of the copper melt, operating strictly in accordance with the process specifications. 7. Pay close attention to the liquid displacement volume of the copper pump; it is strictly prohibited to allow the copper pump to become empty, as this could cause a slight increase in pressure. 8. Maintain the liquid level in the copper tower between 1/2 and 2/3; flush the level gauge from time to time. Empty or false levels must be avoided at all costs to prevent accidents caused by liquid presence. 9. Strengthen routine inspections of this position, pay attention to the oil level of the equipment, as well as the condition of the cooling water and the lubrication of the equipment. It is strictly prohibited to cut off the supply of oil or water, as this can damage the equipment or cause it to operate under overload conditions.
