Corrosion issues in sodium polysulfide equipment

Equipment involved: Sodium polysulfide metering tank (carbon steel), sulfidation reactor (carbon steel). Corrosion issue: The sodium polysulfide metering tank suffers from severe corrosion after long-term use； The gas-liquid interface in the vulcanization tank is severely corroded. Operating conditions: Sodium polysulfide metering tank (normal temperature and pressure) ； Vulcanization tank (around 147 degrees, 0.2 MPa). I’m wondering if anyone can help analyze the causes of corrosion and provide reasonable suggestions regarding material selection.

At normal temperature and pressure, with a temperature below 160, why not consider using PTFE lining? Although the initial investment is high, it is still cost-effective overall.
