I am currently gathering information on filters used in the process water system. I’m not very clear about which filters to choose, so I hope those who have relevant information can share it with me!
Filters remove solid impurities from fluids, improve product purity, and ensure the safe operation of downstream equipment such as compressors, pumps, and instruments. Main technical parameters: 1. Materials suitable for use include: A. Slightly corrosive materials used in chemical and petrochemical production, such as water, ammonia, oils, hydrocarbons, etc. B. Corrosive materials used in chemical production, such as caustic soda, soda ash, concentrated and dilute sulfuric acid, carbonic acid, and acetic acid. C. Low-temperature materials at low temperatures, such as liquid methane, liquid oxygen, liquid ammonia, and various refrigerants. D. Materials with hygiene requirements in light industry, food, and pharmaceutical production, such as beer, beverages, dairy products, grain slurries, and medical supplies. E. High-efficiency precision filters for various special processes, etc. 2. Material of the coarse filtration element: both the filter frame and the filter screen are made of stainless steel. 3. Materials for fine filtration elements: sintered titanium alloy filters, stainless steel folded filters, polytetrafluoroethylene folded filters, polypropylene folded filters, sintered metal fiber tube mats, and ceramics. A dual-filter system uses two three-way ball valves to assemble two single-tube filters on one frame; cleaning the filters does not require shutting down the system, thus ensuring its continuous operation. A Y-type model is usually sufficient to solve the issue; using stainless steel for the material will work just fine. If there are other requirements, a T-type or a more advanced model can be chosen. . . .
