The corrosion protection of wastewater treatment equipment starts with the coating applied to the equipment, followed by some localized improvements to the environment in which the equipment operates. This includes applying anti-corrosion coatings, epoxy resin, galvanizing, etc., to the outside of the equipment. Additionally, improvements can be made to the equipment’s surrounding environment; for example, since acidic gases tend to form in areas with grills, exhaust fans should be installed there. Of course, there are other ways as well; I’m sharing them with everyone.
The technology is now very mature; basically, the equipment manufacturers take care of everything, with the buyer specifying their requirements.
For equipment through which fluids flow, it is advisable to consider adding corrosion inhibitors, especially in water containing high levels of chloride ions and sulfate ions. Adding a corrosion inhibitor can effectively reduce corrosion of equipment in water bodies; meanwhile, scaling in the water also accelerates equipment corrosion, so agents such as scale inhibitors should also be added
An anti-corrosion coating can be applied to the equipment; fiberglass resin is usually sufficient for this purpose. Technology is very advanced these days; whatever one wants can be obtained. Just tell the equipment manufacturers to make it corrosion-resistant.
