There are frequent leaks behind the horizontal pipes and steel columns in the regenerator enclosure of our plant; please discuss any effective methods for addressing this issue.
The original poster didn’t explain it very clearly; as I understand it, gas leaks out from inside the heat storage chamber. If that’s the case, conduct a torch test to determine the leakage point and then seal it ； If this does not work, there is a lot of dust on the grid bricks inside the heat storage chamber, which creates high resistance to the rising gas; in such cases, cleaning the grid bricks can reduce this resistance and solve the problem.
Thank you for the reminder. The main issue now is not a gas leak, but an actual fire that has broken out. The specific location should be at the part where the carbonization chamber meets the regenerative chamber at its bottom. Yesterday, Heat Repair carried out work at the bottom of the furnace door frame.
Commonly known as roof burning, it is usually caused by leakage at the bottom of the carbonization chamber. The solution is to open the lining bricks at the bottom of the furnace door frame and then fill it with grout. Then go to the roof surface to make repairs.
