Each spring support should be considered a special type of pipe support, and a separate drawing for that special support is required. Each such drawing must include a material list that clearly indicates the materials corresponding to each component
In addition, there are vertical displacement, operating condition load, installed condition load, horizontal displacement, spring stiffness, and load rate of change
The results only tell you how to select the spring; the specific form of the spring support should be determined based on the conditions on site.
