For a container that is in communication with the atmosphere, what is the reading on the pressure gauge attached to it? Is it one kilogram of pressure?

This can be divided into two cases: 1. If the container is open to the atmosphere, there is no fluid inside the tank, and the pressure gauge is installed on the side of the tank, then it will not display any pressure value. 2. If the container is open to the atmosphere but there is liquid inside the tank, what will be the reading on the pressure gauge? If the pressure gauge is located below the liquid level, then the pressure due to the liquid column will be present, but it isn’t necessarily 1 kilogram of pressure
Atmospheric pressure vessels generally do not have pressure gauges; if one is installed, it will show a gauge pressure of 0.

What they are asking is: if a pressure gauge is installed, what value will it display? !
The pressure in a container in communication with the atmosphere is atmospheric pressure! The reading on the pressure gauge is the local atmospheric pressure! It’s almost like one kilogram of pressure!
