My views on the phenomenon of partial blockage in the syngas outlet pipeline of the gasifier, its causes, and the methods for dealing with it. Does Haiyou think so? Phenomenon: The pressure difference between the operating pressure of the vaporization furnace and the pressure in the carbon scrubber increases. Reason: Solid particles are entrained with the syngas as it exits the quench chamber; these particles accumulate at the outlet pipe, leading to blockages or scaling. Solution: (1) Increase the flow rate of FV211/261/311 ; (2) Increase the quench water flow rate and the liquid level in the quench chamber ; (3) Perform specialized manual clearing after parking ; (4) Normally, the operators should improve their skill level and adjust the pressure between the two devices in a timely manner.
The original poster should tell us what kind of gasification process it is; I think the conditions vary from one process to another.
It should be from Texaco, in my opinion. The phenomenon is similar to that of a clogged slag outlet or a clogged downcomer – that is, there is a high pressure difference at the slag outlet, high pressure inside the furnace, and low gas output. The cause is likely related to the quality of the coal; of course, it’s also connected to factors such as liquid level and gas output. The blockage is probably located at the elbow. There are many ways to deal with this issue, as mentioned by the original poster. If the blockage is severe, it’s necessary to shut down the system for repairs.
