A factory is currently operating three D750 gas blowers, namely #1, #2, and #3, at full capacity. An abnormality occurred with #2, so it is necessary to switch to using #4; please advise on the best method for making this switch
When starting the fan: ⑴ Notify relevant units such as the dispatch center, substation, and coke oven, fill out the machine-switching operation form, and have everyone in position and ready; ⑵ Once the power delivery preparation is complete, the dispatcher issues the command to start operation ; Upon receiving the start command, turn off the motor power supply and start the motor ; ⑶ Monitor the oil temperature and pressure at the fuel station, as well as the oil temperature and pressure of the hydraulic coupling, and also check the return flow condition from the high-level oil tank ; ⑷ The actuator of the hydraulic coupling can be adjusted only when the oil temperature in the oil cooler reaches 50°C, to start the low-speed operation of the output shaft ; ⑸ After starting the fan, it is necessary to continuously monitor the oil pressure and oil temperature at the fan, motor, coupling, and other components, as well as the temperature rise across various parts of the equipment. ⑹ Once the oil temperature in the oil station reaches 38°C to 40°C, turn on the cooling water for the oil station’s oil cooler ; When the oil outlet temperature of the hydraulic coupler reaches 55°C to 58°C, start the cooling water of the hydraulic coupler’s oil cooler ; ⑺ Manually adjust the output speed of the coupling slowly, while gradually opening the inlet valve of the fan based on the pressure conditions in the coke oven gas collection system. As the fan approaches its critical speed, the actuator of the coupling is adjusted rapidly to enable the fan to quickly pass beyond the runaway point. ⑻ Once the fan is operating properly, open the valve on the drainage pipe at the bottom of the unit to start draining the liquid; it is also necessary to clean the drainage pipe once more. The actuator of the hydraulic coupling has been changed from manual to automatic; the gas circulation pipe must be closed, and regular inspections of the fan’s operation are required to ensure that all parameters meet the specified requirements.
I mean, why hasn’t it stopped? How can startup and shutdown be seamlessly connected?
Operation for switching the blower: 1. Consult the dispatcher and arrange for relevant professionals to be on site; 2 Carry out the preparatory work for starting the fan as required ; 3 The processes, mechanics, electricity, and instrumentation sections shall each be signed for confirmation ; 4 Replace the fan to be started through the drain pipe; once it is satisfactory, close the cleaning pipe and the vent pipe ; 5. Open the inlet valve of the fan to be started; once the operation is complete, close the inlet valve and open the outlet valve of the fan to be started ; 6 Start the fan to be started, increase its speed gradually, and begin operating it at a low speed ; 7 Slowly open the inlet valve of the fan to be started to 20% ; 8 Reduce the speed of the fan to be shut down, and slowly close the inlet valve of the same fan to 20% ; 9 Adjust the speed of the fans that are to be started or stopped; when the pressure in the collector pipe is below 50 Pa, increase the circulation adjustment to ensure that the pressure in the collector pipe meets the required levels. 10 Gradually increase the speed of the fan to be started, and open the inlet valve of that fan to the specified opening degree ; 11 Gradually reduce the speed of the fan to be shut down, and gradually close the inlet valve of this fan ; 12 When the speed of the fan to be shut down is below 200 revolutions per minute, close the inlet valve of that fan and cut off the power supply ; 13 Once the fan to be shut down has come to a complete stop, close the outlet valve of that fan ; When the bearing temperatures of all the stopped fans have dropped to 40°C and the oil temperature in the oil station has fallen to around 30°C, shut off the cooling water for the oil coolers of those stopped fans and stop the oil pumps ; Steam was used to clean the drainage pipes of each fan that had been shut down; the drain pipe in front of the rear valve of the fan was opened, and steam was used to clean the fan itself ; 17. Turn the shaft once after parking for half an hour; once per shift once it is operating normally. The 18 backup fans should have their drain pipes cleaned once per shift.
Remember one key point: first stabilize the operation of blower #4 before shutting down blower #2. If it doesn’t have variable frequency speed control, it’s very easy to operate; if it does have such control, it often causes emissions from the coking workshop.
