May I ask if there are any specific requirements for the catalysts used in the production of synthetic vinyl chloride? Things like true density and false density, for example

I think bulk density is still somewhat useful; a high bulk density may indicate that the material is too fine, or it could mean that the adsorption capacity of the activated carbon is low. In such cases, effective adsorption of mercury chloride is poor, and the activity of the activated carbon declines rapidly. The biggest concern is the use of contaminated catalysts, which are usually quite broken after being overturned. I believe a bulk density of 620–640 kg/m3 is optimal.
