Why is low-pressure nitrogen introduced into the graywater tanks and sedimentation tanks?

I see that low-pressure nitrogen is also being introduced into the graywater sink and sedimentation tank. Why is that?
Generally, nitrogen is used for purging, protection, pressurized transportation, and other purposes; what is the reason in this case?
Prevent oxygen from dissolving in the ash water and being carried into the system. However, oxygen is already poorly soluble in water, so it seems unnecessary to add nitrogen. Many manufacturers operate just fine without this setting.
Under normal circumstances, sealed sedimentation tanks are supplied with nitrogen for deoxygenation.
Is this the correct answer? Why can it prevent oxygen from dissolving? Why is it necessary to prevent oxygen from dissolving, and where exactly does this prevention take place? I would appreciate guidance from those who are experts. Thank you
Nitrogen filling is done to protect equipment and instruments from oxidation caused by air infiltration. On the other hand, it is to prevent a portion of the oxygen from dissolving in the system
