Is CNOOC launching new projects in Daxie?

I heard that CNOOC is planning to launch a new refining and petrochemical project on Daxie Island in Ningbo. Does anyone here know anything about this?
I’d like to know if there are any updates; please let me know if you hear anything
I haven’t heard of it; it’s not mentioned on CNOOC’s website either. Where did the original poster get that internal information from?
CNOOC is indeed planning to launch new projects. However, where it is remains unclear at the moment.
A supplier knows some information; I’m not sure how accurate it is. Those who know should speak up!
But it’s not owned by CNOOC; the investor is the South Korean company Hanwha Group
Daxie Petrochemical belongs to CNOOC Refining & Chemicals (which was originally involved in oil and gas utilization); it used to be part of the same system as us, but it’s not anymore. I haven’t heard of any new projects in Daxie

Haven’t heard of it; I’m keeping an eye on it… The chemical industry in Ningbo is indeed very prosperous – there are two major design institutes plus Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Co., and if what the original poster says is true, there will be another refining & chemical enterprise as well… Its potential is endless… Gagah~
I already said there are no new projects, but no one believes me. I work for CNOOC as well, but not in one of its subsidiaries :L

There is one, on Daxie Island, opposite Yantai Wanhua.
