The industrial automation technology discussion area and the on-site instrumentation technology discussion area have been merged; they are closely related and inseparable, so there is no need to keep them separate, as this would waste forum resources.
I personally disagree. Apart from the bus control approach, there are relatively few cases that require coordinated handling.
If merged, there will be too many posts, which makes it difficult for moderators to manage things and allows some people to post spam.
