Advantages and disadvantages of vertical pumps and horizontal pumps

What other advantages does choosing a vertical pump offer besides saving space? I’m quite confused; I hope experts can give me some guidance
In my opinion, maintaining vertical pumps is rather troublesome; moreover, the bearings in these pumps are subject to high axial forces, which makes them prone to failure. They are not as reliable as horizontal pumps. It’s better to choose products that are more mature in terms of design

A vertical pump is what is commonly referred to as a pipeline pump; the motor and the pump are connected by the same shaft. It produces less noise, but it is not convenient for maintenance
