I recently read about catalytic synthesis, and there was a concept called spatio-temporal yield – I’m not sure what it means

It refers to the amount of a certain product that can be obtained per unit time, per unit volume (or mass) of catalyst under given reaction conditions. It is one of the indicators used to measure the activity of catalysts and the production capacity of reactor systems.
Are there any measuring instruments for this purpose?

Definition: Space-time yield = mass of product in g / (amount of catalyst used in ml × reaction time in h)
Actually, it’s easier to understand this when connected to the concept of \"space velocity\". Space velocity refers to the amount of feed material that can be processed by a unit of catalyst per unit of time
