What is the proper way to handle those posts that need to be removed?

There are many posts in the oil refining technology discussion area that should be removed. However, doing so will inevitably affect the interests of many members: fewer posts means less wealth points, and among those affected are long-time forum users as well as former or current administrators. What is the most appropriate way to deal with these posts? These posts waste a lot of people’s time and take up valuable forum resources. Every time I delete a moved post, I send a text message to let the other person know; I do it even though I know it will upset them. Would it be inappropriate not to notify the other party via text message? Is that a lack of respect? I would like to ask everyone for advice.

1. For previously posted replies that appear to be spam, they can be retained if there are no new replies; otherwise, such spam posts can be deleted. 2. Replies that are just filler posts will be deleted without hesitation. The topic post is directly moved to the recycle bin. 3. The watering posts from a long time ago might be issues left over from the past; since they are part of history, they surely have some value in being preserved! Posts that clearly violate the rules should be moved to the trash bin, and a text message notification is necessary； A post with little meaning gets pushed down, remaining semi-hidden ； Keep it pinned for a long time, but it’s not very useful and no one pays attention to it; remove the pinning, move it down, and stop highlighting it ； It’s not a topic-related post; it’s of the nature of spam, so no notification is needed for deletion ； For older posts, there are special cases: those that aren’t very meaningful can be moved to lower positions or closed.
Execute the instructions from the superiors and the boss! I was worried that changing the theme might harm members’ interests and thus affect the harmony of the forum, but since their points aren’t reduced, there’s no need to worry anymore. For posts that are generally rated, I don’t have to delete them. This way, it is possible to avoid tolerating those who behave badly, thus not hurting the members who abide by rules and regulations, while still maintaining the unity of the Haichuan family.
I also often clean up posts in the recycle bin. According to the boss, they shouldn’t be removed – it’s the boss who has to handle them in the backend; otherwise, everyone’s wealth will be deducted. It is also recommended that other supersets not be processed either.
