What is the function of the baffle at the outlet of a centrifugal pump?
It should be a protective device designed to prevent the medium in the pipeline from flowing back after the pump stops, thereby avoiding damage to the impeller; reverse flow of the medium can cause the back cap to loosen and fall off.
Go back upstairs; the function of the outlet check valve is to prevent backflow. Is it the same as a partition? I’d like to ask for advice
Partition: As the name implies, it serves a separating function. Generally, pump outlets are equipped with check valves; therefore, I think its role is to guide the flow!
