When bidding for self-acting control valves, what parameters are provided to the manufacturer, what questions are asked, and what factors generally ensure the proper operation of the valve? Please help me if you have expertise in this area.
Medium, flow rate, pressure before the valve, pressure after the valve; material requirements are similar to those for control valves
Self-acting control valves are also types of valves; when requesting a quote, parameters such as flow rate, pressure before the valve, and set pressure should be provided. The manufacturer will then calculate the appropriate CV value for the valve, as well as its opening degree under different operating conditions, allowing for selection based on actual needs
In other words, it’s a special type of control valve; it’s better to choose well-known brand products, haha.
