During the production process, the catalytic life of fluorsulfonic acid is only about 3 days; what substances can affect its catalytic performance? I suspect that the lower level of water in acetylene leads to an increase in its concentration, which results in more intense local reactions, higher temperatures, and carbon deposition on the acetylene, thereby reducing the catalyst’s lifespan.
