Now, representatives have proposed extending the May Day holiday. I wonder if this will be implemented this year – three days is not enough time; it’s not sufficient to go somewhere for a trip, so one can only stay at home or travel nearby. I wonder if other netizens share the same feeling? What are your plans for the May Day holiday?
I hope it can be extended, but it seems that **this isn’t being considered at the moment**
It’s likely to be extended to stimulate consumption
I haven’t heard yet whether it will be extended; I hope it will be
It’s still too early; I think I need to go back to my hometown to see my parents
I hope May Day can be extended so that we can have some proper fun
It’s currently in progress** – oh, keep an eye on the news; reforms are underway. For example, in Beijing there will be no long holidays this year, while Guangdong will offer seven days of holiday time.
I hope the holiday period can be extended. You can go on trips to farther places.
Won’t it be the case that only Guangdong will have a seven-day holiday during this year’s May Day break?
On March 7, the News Agency reported that there would be no response regarding the May Day holiday for the time being. It’s stuffy!
Hope it can be extended; anyway, the more fake content, the better
I can only say I hope it will be extended·~ But there’s no news yet, so that’s that~~
Isn’t Guangdong going to restore a seven-day work week this year? It seems to still be three days in other areas!
It is said that in Guangdong, there isn’t really a 7-day holiday either. It’s just a suggestion from the province: to consolidate the holidays into such a \"Golden Week,\" which is not an official holiday. In other words, it advocates focusing on the May Day holiday, along with statutory holidays, Sundays, and adjustments to annual leave, in order to create a seven-day break that simulates the \"May Day Golden Week\". We’re just trying it out first to see how it works in practice. So it still depends on the situation of each company; we private enterprises won’t just allow it casually. Three days during Labor Day is already quite sufficient for us O(∩_∩)O This post was last edited by Flyupwards86 on 2009-3-10 at 14:59
This year is already the fourth time I’ve been on duty at the company (on New Year’s Eve). I can’t even think about the Long May holiday.
Guangdong gives 7 days off, but the work still has to be done; it’s better not to have those days off at all. Frustrated!
The plan for going out to have fun definitely has to be determined based on the length of time available
