1. The designers hand it over to the professional Lead for management. If a particular task is falling behind schedule, conduct a thorough analysis and make proactive adjustments. It seems your question is directed at the professional lead, who doesn’t have the authority to impose rewards or penalties directly.
Design is a systematic project that requires the proper leadership of a project manager and the concerted efforts of a team in order to be completed on time. Before the design begins, a project plan coordination sheet must be prepared, with clear time allocations for each task, which is then signed off by the responsible professional. If a designer fails to complete the work on time without a valid reason (which generally doesn’t happen), I will talk to them and ask them to finish it according to the original plan. I might also go along with their requests, or even meet some of their unreasonable demands, just to avoid disrupting the overall progress. But once this project is completed, if there are other projects in the future, I won’t want this person to work with me again.
The project manager usually presses the person in charge of the technical aspects directly, and does not deal with the designers themselves. If the task is completed, a bonus will still be given based on the amount of work done on the drawings, but no additional bonuses will be provided.
