Moreover, firefighters also hold other jobs, which sometimes leads to omissions in record-keeping. It actually shows that they did not carry out daily inspections. II. On-site inspections: During the on-site inspections, it was found that several companies had more or less issues related to safety and fire protection. 1. At 9:30, the inspection team arrived at the fire control room of the department store; for some reason, the room was empty for over ten minutes. Asking the staff nearby also yielded no answer. 2. The emergency exit behind the first floor of Hongyun Shopping Mall is locked and closed. 3. A fire hose at the first floor of the central shopping mall is damaged, and there are no exit signs at the two main entrances. 4. A boutique at Baixing Trading Co., Ltd. is under renovation, and temporary power supply for the renovation work has been installed. 5. There are obstacles in front of the fire hydrants in several shopping malls, and some of the hydrants also contain miscellaneous items inside them. III. Recommendations for Improvement 1. During the inspection, Deputy Director Guo Xinhua conveyed the spirit of the provincial documents to the personnel in charge of fire safety at the inspected units, urging their leaders to fully recognize the extreme importance of fire safety, to strengthen oversight of fire safety efforts, to take measures to effectively identify and address potential hazards, to prevent serious and catastrophic accidents, and to maintain social stability. 2. The inspection team requires that fire safety regulations be put into practice; daily inspections must not be neglected, and records must be kept carefully and completely. Units that do not have standardized inspection records can refer to the format of inspection records from other malls to create their own records, thereby standardizing their work. 3. Regarding the safety exit issues at Hongyun Commercial Building, the person in charge of the unit is required to take immediate action to make corrections. Fire hydrants and fire extinguishers should be regularly inspected and replaced in a timely manner. Obstructions and debris inside and outside the fire hydrants must be removed immediately to keep the fire access routes clear. Promptly stop the unreasonable use of power supplies for interior renovations. 4. The inspection team prepared inspection records for the units under inspection, put forward suggestions for rectifying the identified issues, and had the fire safety officers from the inspected units sign off on them. 5. Our department has already contacted the Lianshan District Fire Brigade, and we plan to conduct a thorough and comprehensive inspection of the key fire safety units in the district together in the next step.

Fire inspection reports should not be issued by evaluation companies! A fire inspection report must be issued by the fire department and bear its official seal to be valid! Moreover, the fire department has a standardized format for fire inspection reports.

The person on the 4th floor is right; the fire inspection procedures should be issued by the fire department. As part of the safety assessment, one can only propose suggestions for rectifying any potential hazards related to fire protection equipment and facilities, but does not have the authority to issue fire inspection reports.
