HG20519.7-1992 is the standard for drawing equipment layout diagrams, while HG 20546.1-1992 specifies the content and level of detail required for the design of equipment layouts in chemical plants; I noticed that there are many similarities between the provisions of these two standards. Are both of these standards current ones? What is the relationship between them, and which one should be used when drawing equipment layout diagrams? Or either one will work. HG chemical standards are obsolete. HG was an industry standard established by the former Ministry of Chemical Industry under the State Council; this ministry was abolished in 2000, and the HG chemical standards were gradually phased out. Nowadays, few companies still use these HG standards.
