Problems with the ammonia pump valves

At present, the inlet valves of the ammonia pumps used in our factory often experience internal leakage, external leakage from the valve body, or the shedding of the valve core. It causes problems for long-term stable operation, and replacing the inlet valve of the ammonia pump requires thermal washing and purging of the system, resulting in significant waste. I’m not sure what kind of valves everyone is using, or which manufacturers produce them, or what their performance is like. Could you please recommend some? Thank you. Which company do you use? Imported, right? Germany’s is better.
Our ammonia pump inlet valve is a dual-valve system; the first shut-off valve is usually in the open position and does not function, while the second shut-off valve is used for control. The first shut-off valve is only utilized when there is a problem with the second one, and it is immediately replaced. Once the replacement is complete, the original control method is resumed. For those equipped with stainless steel valve cores, dual valves are used. The valves must be inspected and pressure-tested successfully before installation. It is advisable to choose large manufacturers with whom you can maintain a long-term cooperative relationship and in whom you have trust; place orders directly with the manufacturers, avoiding intermediaries as much as possible, since those who use multiple agents are generally unreliable.
The issue mentioned by the original poster might be a common problem! I fully agree with the opinion of user ddfmy on the 4th floor: use stainless steel valve cores and install dual valves. Additionally, the choice of manufacturer is also very important; brands like Lango and Genkawa Chemical are quite good options.
