A pressure reduction plate is required in the pipeline; how to calculate its specifications and dimensions
Is it a throttle orifice plate? Calculate the pressure difference before and after throttle orifice plates with different pore sizes. This pressure difference is quite limited; in other words, the pressure drop is small.
It should be called a pressure-reducing orifice plate; for the head loss associated with such orifices, as well as for the hydraulic calculations of steel pipes, the nominal diameter and the calculated inner diameter are used respectively. If the head loss tables for pressure-reducing orifice plates in the design manual are used in engineering design, the corrected flow velocity must be calculated using the nominal diameter.
