Filter cloths get damaged frequently; the key is to identify the cause and replace the filter cloths accordingly! If it is due to operational reasons or issues with strength, focus on improving the operating procedures and the quality of the filter fabric ； If the material causes corrosion of the filter cloth, choose a filter cloth made of a material suitable for the acidity or alkalinity of that material; any reputable filter cloth manufacturer can provide reliable filter cloths!
Filter cloths come in various forms; based on the weaving method, they can be plain-weave or twill-weave, etc., and based on the material, they can be made of cotton, polypropylene, polyester, nylon, etc. The choice should be made depending on your medium and requirements.
We use Polypropylene 750B, and it works well; give it a try.

First, determine that the damage to the filter cloth is not caused by a defect in the design of the filter plate. If it is determined that the issue lies in the selection of the filter cloth itself, you can consult the filter press manufacturers; many large manufacturers are willing to conduct filter cloth tests free of charge. By providing some sample materials, they can use laboratory filter presses to identify the most suitable filter cloth for your needs. As far as I know, filter cloth manufacturers do not offer such services, and there are no standardized requirements for filter cloth production either – basically, only factory-specific standards exist, so the choice of filter cloth relies on empirical recommendations.
