Currently, for ammonia water treatment, the process involves first removing oil and then evaporating ammonia, followed by biochemical treatment. I was wondering if there is a better process that can increase the oil removal rate and the removal efficiency of ammonia nitrogen, while also reducing the treatment costs
It is a more reasonable process to remove oil first and then apply ammonia vaporization; if ammonia vaporization is carried out first, it will affect the oil, as the oil will enter into contact with the ammonia and thereby interfere with its absorption. As for how to remove oil, either primary or secondary oil removal methods can be chosen, such as using oil skimmers in oil separation tanks or secondary air flotation for oil removal; ammonia vaporization can also be utilized, with operating parameters adjusted to achieve the lowest possible operating costs.
The remaining ammonia water from coking can be directly sent for ammonia distillation; the mechanical ammonia water clarification tank used in the earlier stages has already served its purpose.
