To friends who are still in school and those who have just graduated

I have been working for two years now. Due to the significant gaps in knowledge within the company, graduates like us who have just finished school become the focus of intensive training by the company; we’re like students in an accelerated training program, forced to learn and do everything, so the pressure is considerable. Now, whenever I see someone else reading a book, I feel extremely envious because they have the time. Especially when I see those colleagues who are busy preparing for professional qualification exams and certified engineer exams, I feel regretful – why didn’t I think about passing the basic exams back when I was in school? Now that I want to take those exams, I have to study the basic aspects again, but I simply don’t have enough time or energy for that. Since there is time for studying, it should be made good use of. With a certificate in hand, it’s easy to find a job. I have a classmate who holds a professional qualification certificate for environmental impact assessment; when looking for a job, he even managed to outcompete doctors from prestigious universities. Today, technical organizations place great emphasis on those certificates that can affect their qualifications and performance; without certificates of sufficient value, their qualifications may be downgraded, business development will stall, and there can be no talk of profitability. I advise all students currently in school and those who have just graduated to spend time acquiring more knowledge and obtaining additional certificates, as this will surely be beneficial for their personal development.
