Bypass can be translated in two ways: by-pass or side stream. By-pass means bypassing a certain facility, while side stream refers to an auxiliary flow path. For safety valves, I think by-pass is the better choice.

Putting aside the English for now, I think there’s a problem with the design! Does the container (system) lack pressure balance or pressure control pipelines? If manual exhaust is required during feeding, does that mean manual air supply is needed during discharging? In that case, isn’t it quite troublesome to operate, and also unsafe?

The container (system) lacks pressure balance or pressure control pipelines. Continuous feeding with manual nitrogen discharge (through a safety valve); the operation is simple and safe.
