I work in design at a factory that manufactures polypropylene (PP) equipment, but I have found that the relevant standard, \"Plastic Equipment HG20640-97\", is no longer in use. The title of this standard reads: \"This standard specifies the requirements for the design, manufacturing, inspection, and acceptance of stationary equipment fabricated from rigid polyvinyl chloride laminates or modified polypropylene laminates, as well as stationary equipment with a steel shell and soft polyvinyl chloride extruded panels as lining.\" ”The PP equipment produced by our factory is all made from pure PP extruded sheets (as far as I know, the vast majority of manufacturers in this industry use such sheets), rather than modified polypropylene laminates; so isn’t this standard not applicable in that case? Furthermore, this standard does not specify how this modified polypropylene was modified – whether with calcium carbonate, barium sulfate, or some other modification method. If this standard truly doesn’t apply, then the current polypropylene equipment manufacturing industry is one without any standards to follow. I’m not sure if my judgment is correct

1# zidian1982 The standards in Europe are relatively simple. There are also authoritative international standards. Domestically, work is also underway to draft GB standards. Are you willing to become an HG industry standard? If you wish, I might be able to help you get the project off the ground.
