I would like to ask everyone how they insulate valves – what are the best methods?

Our approach is: copy the aluminum box, fill it with asbestos, and wrap the entire valve up; they all have the same size! Of course, the drive mechanism is not included!

Valves with jacket insulation provide the best thermal insulation effect. If such conditions are not available, that is, if there is no heating medium, insulation can be achieved by using insulating materials such as insulation tiles.

Depending on the different media, temperatures, and locations within the valve’s internal passages, different insulation methods such as sepiolite and protective enclosures are selected

Our approach: Apply a 50-mm-thick layer of composite silicate to the valve body, leaving the large cover and flanges exposed for easy inspection of the series and for detecting leaks.

Simple methods such as wrapping with insulation material. Additionally, you can use a heating tape to heat it to the temperature you need.
