Shenghua Refinery in Dongying, Shandong, with an annual production capacity of 150,000 tons; Xianyang Refinery in Shaanxi, with an annual production capacity of 1.2 million tons
Sinopec Anqing Petrochemical Branch has a facility with an annual capacity of 1.2 million tons. In 2002, the latest catalytic cracking process (MIP – Multi-Produce Isoparaffins) developed by the Research Institute of Petroleum Processing (RIPP) was applied to produce clean gasoline components; the two units were arranged in a coaxial configuration, and single-stage counter-current regeneration was used for regeneration. 30% vacuum residue and 15% coker wax oil are blended in. I work at the catalytic unit of Anqing Petrochemical.
It is not known whether the technology developed by the Institute of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnology and that of China University of Petroleum were developed through joint research; however, Anqing Petrochemical does indeed use the coaxial two-stage riser technology for reducing olefins. The riser is divided into a reaction zone 1 and a reaction zone 2 – catalytic reactions take place in zone 1, while hydrogen transfer and isomerization reactions occur in zone 2.
Dual lift tube technologies: the first is TSRFCC from the Petroleum University, the second is FDFcc from Luoyang Institute, and the third is auxiliary lifting from the China Academy of Petroleum Sciences. But they are all patents, used extensively internally; the PetroChina system uses those developed by the Petroleum University, while the Sinopec system uses those from Luoyang Institute.
