Dear teachers, what is the viscosity of the liquid ash in the gasifier during pressurized gasification of water-coal slurry? The figures given in the same book differ; one says 25 Pa·s, while another says 250 mPa·s. What is the correct value? Thank you to all the teachers
For fluidized bed systems, the viscosity of the ash sludge must be less than 25 Pa·s; if it is greater than 25 Pa·s, a flux needs to be added
The viscosity of ash required for normal slag discharge is roughly 50–100P, with a maximum of 250P; the viscosity at which the ash melt stops flowing under the effect of gravity is about 1000P.
