Whether to passivate depends on how high the temperature of your furnace is right now If it is very low, less than 70 degrees, passivation may not be necessary. Be careful to prevent moisture during loading! And load it quickly.
Due to the long parking time, the temperature has naturally dropped to 30 degrees, and the system maintains a slight positive pressure using CO2.
No passivation is required; collect it while digging and place it in bags, sealing them immediately once they are full. Nitrogen can be used to protect the material during the bagging process. It can be used normally after vulcanization. The catalyst that has been in use in our factory for six years was reused for another four years; of course, its activity at low temperatures is somewhat lower
It’s best to re-sulfurize it in a new furnace (personal opinion)!
