I would like to ask if the hero knows the working principle and purpose of the oil deflector plate and oil deflector ring. It would be better to introduce the material or attach a picture to explain. I hope everyone will answer enthusiastically and there will be rewards. This post was last edited by daqing01 on 2009-3-10 22:37 ]
The oil gear plate prevents the oil pump from running when the steam turbine is not filled with shaft seal steam. During the rotation of the shaft, the lubricating oil flows into the steam seal along the shaft. When the oil falls on the oil gear plate, it will be thrown to the wall of the front bearing box. Finally, it collects along the box wall to the bottom of the bearing box, and returns to the oil tank from the bottom oil return pipeline to participate in the oil circulation.
Each manufacturer names the parts differently. I don’t know if the oil deflector and oil deflector ring you call are bearing box oil seal components. If so, they should have the following functions: The purpose of the oil deflector is to ensure that the oil in the bearing box does not leak outside during operation; the oil deflector is to ensure that external impurities and rainwater do not enter the bearing box.
The main function of the oil retaining ring is to prevent the oil in the bearing box from being thrown out when the shaft is running at high speed, and to prevent cooling water from entering the bearing box from the bearing end cover to emulsify the oil. If there are no special requirements, it is generally made of rubber! However, the models of each manufacturer are different, and the materials are also different, so it depends on the specific situation!
The gear oil retaining ring is installed on the gear shaft, and the bearing is grease lubricated. Its function is to prevent the lubricating oil caused by the gear splash from entering the bearing, because the lubricating oil entering the bearing will take away the grease. The diameter of the oil slinger is generally 1mm smaller than the diameter of the bearing mounting hole, and the oil slinger has a VVV shape on its circumference, that is, 2 to 3 annular grooves.
