What is the tallest structure in a chemical plant?
The distillation tower should be the tallest, as many trays are required during distillation
Haha, the tallest building at Dalian Sinopec is the Torch! ! There is a chimney for burning exhaust gases: it’s a lit torch~~:lol
Our torch is the tallest, at over 100 meters; below that are several distillation towers that are 60 to 70 meters tall.
The highest equipment in different factories varies, so it cannot be generalized! In our factory, the cooling towers are the tallest!
It’s usually a torch, or a distillation tower, extraction tower, absorption tower :)
Under normal circumstances, the height of the coke tower and the drill pipe steel structure in delayed coking is quite high, around 100 meters
Are you referring to the most expensive device, or the highest price of the device itself? The question isn’t very clear. I think torches and chimneys are generally the tallest structures in a factory
The unit I’ve seen is the distillation tower; the flare shouldn’t be considered a unit
The Petrochemical Design Manual states that the height of elevated support flares can reach 180 m, while tower-type support flares can reach 120 m. I’m not sure whether this counts as the highest possible height.
Normally it’s a torch, unless there isn’t one, haha
Generally, it is a tower, unless there is an alternative design
This question is asked; I think it’s meaningless. But our unit has the highest evacuation level.
Tower equipment, or chimneys, flares, and the like.
I’ve seen quite a number of tall towers, but don’t forget the chimneys as well – they are also part of chemical processing facilities. There are many other components inside as well, such as spray systems, combustion torches, and dust removal devices: lol.
This question. . . It’s hard to say, haha – different processes result in different outputs, and the height of the towers isn’t fixed either. Chimneys and flares are usually quite tall, in the dozens of meters I guess
The torch is the tallest. It is required to be over 100 meters.
Generally, emptied chimneys or distillation towers are quite tall
