What is the difference between a Y-type filter and a T-type filter? The Y-shaped filter outlet faces the ground; by opening the drain flange, waste and impurities can be removed. The T-type filter has its opening facing upward; to open the drain flange, it is necessary to enter the cylinder body to remove debris. Under what conditions are Y-type filters used, and under what conditions are T-type filters used? Y-type filters are generally chosen, requiring a sufficient distance between the pipeline and the ground or support surface to facilitate installation, removal, and cleaning. When the distance between the pipeline and the ground or support surface is small, only a T-type filter can be used.
