If there are commercial catalysts available, is it still necessary to prepare the catalyst oneself? Which of the two catalysts is better? Make it myself or buy it ready-made? ? Please give me some advice, thank you!
It’s very simple: if you have the technology to produce catalysts, and the amount needed is large, or even if the amount required is small but the cost of the catalysts is high, it’s obviously better to produce them yourself. In short, the goal is to minimize costs – do whatever is most cost-effective! However, in general, the techniques for preparing catalysts are kept secret!
Well, that’s easy to determine – it depends on things like the catalyst’s performance, its cost, and the overall benefits, etc； If one can produce catalysts with good performance, costs should be significantly reduced; catalysts are generally quite expensive

If you have a large supply of stable raw materials, it is better to turn to catalyst manufacturers to design something suitable for your plant’s raw materials. Several major catalyst manufacturers in China have the capability to do this, though the costs are relatively high.
You need to create a budget for this; cost, performance, and lifespan all need to be taken into consideration.
If commercial catalysts are affordable in terms of production costs, they should be the preferred choice due to the maturity of their technology. Developing new catalysts is a time-consuming and costly process, and it is a last resort.
