There is a thermometer nozzle placed in front of the flow meter on the hair oil station. What is the purpose of measuring temperature here?
That’s called temperature compensation. The flow meters used are usually rotameters (which measure volume), and what is required as an output is mass. Thermometers are used for compensation; since density varies with temperature, volume multiplied by density gives the mass

The system you mentioned should also include a quantitative loading device (also known as a batch controller), a loading pump, automatic valves (electro-hydraulic or pneumatic valves), a volumetric flow meter, a dip pipe (equipped with a level sensor), and an electrostatic grounding alarm. The entire system is called a quantitative loading system; it uses the loading device to control the other equipment and instruments in the system. When the desired amount has been reached, the loading device automatically stops the pump and closes the valves. The data measured by the thermometer is fed into the loading device for temperature compensation, so that the loading device can convert the volumetric flow rate into a mass flow rate.
