The foundation of the oil tanks in our company has sunk, and the bottom plates of the tanks have suffered significant deformation. I would like to ask everyone: at what extent of butterfly-shaped settlement can oil tanks no longer be used?
Half of them are unusable if it exceeds 5 millimeters; those with a downward displacement of more than 5-10 millimeters are also unusable.

As long as there is uniform settlement, there is no need to worry. Floating roof tanks are feasible based on the data provided by the original poster, and for dome roof tanks, as long as the inclination due to non-uniform settlement does not exceed 15°, there will be no problems.
