Do people know what mature technologies are available for treating phenol-containing wastewater in industry?

I would like to ask everyone for advice on the technical methods used in industry to handle phenols. The phenols here include phenol, naphthol, and other polyphenols. :)
Our company uses macroporous resin adsorption to treat nitrophenol wastewater, and the results are fairly good
The stripping method is most commonly used for treating industrial wastewater containing phenols and similar substances. Our company’s treatment method involves stripping at the first stage and activated carbon adsorption at the second stage; it yields good results, but the costs are relatively high!
When the content of monophenols (volatile phenols) is high, the stripping method can be considered. However, when inferior coal is used in Ruhlig-type furnaces, the polyphenol content exceeds 40%, so the stripping method cannot handle it completely.
