At present, the centrifuges used in domestic edible oil refining are mostly of two types: those from German companies Weser and Alfa Laval; I rarely see domestically produced ones. Are domestic centrifuges really that poor in quality?
The domestic small-scale ones are okay, but their production volume isn’t high enough; they lack real R&D capabilities. For large-scale products, it still has to be the two foreign brands you mentioned

High-speed disc centrifuges are very dangerous, as they operate at extremely high speeds. If their reliability is not guaranteed, any problems that occur during operation can lead to serious consequences. I think the issue in China isn’t technical obstacles, but rather a lack of users willing to provide sites for such industrial trials. For example, the centrifuges we use for nuclear materials are devices developed through independent research, and their level of technical complexity is much higher than that of such civilian centrifuges. It’s because the military industry is special; it has test sites. When it comes to the refining of edible oils, any factory that is willing to conduct experiments for domestic companies must take into account the risks of success or failure; in the end, it is someone who is willing to pay to take on those risks. As I said before, you get the quality you pay for. Do you expect a domestically produced machine priced at 200,000 to compete in terms of quality with an Alfa Laval centrifuge that costs 2 million?
