It’s probably another project aimed at seizing resources. This project is a pilot plant with an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons of coal-based liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), invested and constructed by Hebei Green New Energy Co., Ltd. It utilizes a new coal chemical process developed by Beijing Institute of Petrochemical Technology and holds independent intellectual property rights; liquefied petroleum gas is produced through the direct synthesis of coal. The completion of this pilot plant is scheduled for the end of this year. After the pilot experiment is successful (note: only after it is successful! ) Further increase investment to 12 billion, expand production capacity to 1 million tons per year, and aim to complete the installation for the direct conversion of coal into coal-based liquefied petroleum gas by the end of 2012.
The pilot test hasn’t even been successful yet, and they’re already planning to invest 12 billion – that’s quite ridiculous! This company and this so-called new coal chemical processing technology are not convincing!
Could such investment help solve the employment issues for recent graduates in Hebei?
The source is China Coal Resources Network, http://www.sxcoal.com/chemical/2009/03/11/323547/Article.html. Thank you for the reply from the second floor; there is too much impatience in coal chemical projects.
Without a technical foundation, everything else is just fantasy
Which company’s technology is used for gasification?
